Donations
Though we aim towards a high
level of self-sufficiency in all our projects, at this early stage money is
necessary to help set up infrastructure and train local workshop leaders. Any level of
donation is greatly appreciated. If you
would like to contribute, please go to our umbrella website, Musicians without Borders. Be sure to note “Music Bus Goes Middle East” so that the money comes to
this project specifically.
Benefits
The Music Bus Goes Middle East project lends itself particularly
well to fundraising events. Are you a member of a community music project in a
different country? Would you like to affiliate with us? We are happy to provide
pamphlets and videos for events and evenings which display a little of our
young musician’s work and allow people to learn more about the project.
Instruments
At the Music Bus we welcome simple instruments that we can
use in workshops. However, we ask that you arrange delivery to us in Palestine.
Time
We are keen to hear from anyone who has a qualification in
community music who would like to volunteer some time to taking workshops and giving
leadership training. We are particularly looking for a volunteer samba teacher
at the moment. There are also volunteer opportunities for those wishing to
document workshops and make grant applications.
